Thu Hà Đặng has comprehensive experience in managing projects and producing events, including international festivals, in the fields of arts, culture, civil society and the creative industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies from the University for Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University in Hanoi. She enhanced her knowledge and skills during her profession as the Culture Programme Officer at the Goethe-Institut in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 2013 to 2020. Thu Hà Đặng specialised in initiatives and platforms which strengthen interdisciplinary connections, as well as the dialogues and collaborations between local and international individuals as well as institutions, both in the private and public sectors.

Die Hertie School im Herzen Berlins und Europas ist eine international renommierte Hochschule für Politikgestaltung und gute Regierungsführung. Sechs Kompetenzzentren stärken die Expertise der Universität in den Bereichen Europa, Internationale Sicherheit, Grundrechte, Nachhaltigkeit, Digitale Steuerung und Datenwissenschaft. Die Hertie School wurde 2004 von der Gemeinnützigen Hertie-Stiftung gegründet und wird seither maßgeblich von ihr getragen. Sie ist Mitglied der Europäischen Hochschulallianz CIVICA, ist staatlich anerkannt und vom Akkreditierungsrat sowie vom Wissenschaftsrat akkreditiert.
